Braxton hicks?

So this morning I woke up with horrible pain. I couldn't even go back to sleep I was peeing alot as well. I tried drinking water laying on my left side the pain stayed. I woke my son up for school and I noticed when I walk the pain would get worse. I had pressure in my pelvic as well I couldn't even walk my son into school. I went to see my ob he checked me and said cervix was closed tight! I also mentioned the pain was 5-8 minutes apart. He didn't seem concerned. But the pain still keeps coming but it's irregular and it lasts about 10-15 seconds😭😢 I've been drinking water laying down and the pain was just peek up here and there. Since the doctor wasn't concerned I want to wait to see if it continues over night. Are these considered Braxton hicks ??
