Sleeping on her tummy?!?

I have a two months old and she doesn’t like to sleep on her back so I’ve been letting her sleep on her stomach, I just read about mom who lost her child and I’m scared to death, what can I do? I tried swaddled but she HATES it since day one so I really don’t know what to do please help

Place her on her back, she will her use to it eventually but it's the safest way for her to sleep because she can suffocate on something if her nose gets covered. I'm not trying to scare you but it's so much safer on the back.

Once my son could roll over he slept on his stomach. Before that I always put him on his back.

she might have silent reflux-- mine hated being on his back to the point  where we had no choice but to let him sleep on his tummy. He couldn't roll over, but he had decent neck strength so he could turn his head. We actually ended up breaking all the rules because of his reflux. Once we addressed it, he didn't mind sleeping on his back.

My son loves to side sleep. it was a great way to train him to sleep on. his back. we put rolled up dish towels under the sheet to keep him from rolling over

It’s your baby and your choice. We chose to put our little one on his front at 4 weeks because he wouldn’t sleep at all on his back. 
In the day he was next to me in his Moses basket and at night he was in a next to me crib so about 30 cm from my face. This helped me to feel better as I could see him and hear him breathing. I also made sure they were no loose sheets and he had a breathable mattress. 
But ultimately it’s your decision and you need to feel comfortable with it. Yes there are risks and you need to weigh up what’s best for you and your little one.

Both our sons were the same way. we bought an anglecare monitor system that has a sensor pad under the mattress that tracks breathing. if no breathing/movement is detected it sends us an alarm. it put our minds at ease.

My daughter wouldn't sleep on her back either! So since about a month old she has slept on her stomach. She is also an extremely strong baby and has been able to lift herself up since one week, she's now three and a half months 😊 it's mostly regurgitation that doctors worry about because if they spit up they can inhale it through their nose.
