dog and pregnant?

My 11 month old Penny the Jack Russell has been super affectionate since we found out I was pregnant. She's always resting her head on my tummy when she sees me napping or coming over for a little cuddle when I'm on the sofa in front of the TV!

My dog new before I did! She was super clingy and kept laying right by me. She laid her head on my belly my entire pregnancy and is OBSESSED with my daughter. She even posed for my maternity shoot:)

I also have a terrier mutt. The day before I miscarried she insisted she lay on my tummy and did that the whole week until everything was done. Now she's back to her usual just wants her morning/bedtime cuddles but to play every other chance she gets.

I totally think dogs pick up on it. I think they can smell the changes honestly lol

Yep! My dog definitely knows, I think he knew even before we did. He's always coming up for a cuddle where he lies on my belly as if he's protective of baby. 💕

I have a terrier mix. She was very good about napping extra with me while I was pregnant. She knew we had the baby the second she came home from our friends house after labor and loved her right away! 👶❤🐶
