Hey ladies I will graduate next May with my bachelors in elementary education. It has always been my passion to work with children and teach. My husband doesn’t think teaching is a great job and looks at elementary school as a glorified daycare. He would like me to go to nursing school because he says nurses are more respected and paid better for their skills, etc. so basically I would graduate in May and start school in August for a career I may or may not love. I live in North Carolina and will have two kids and a husband who travels for work so I’m basically on my own. If you ladies were in my shoes would you appease your husband and go through nursing school?
