reveal party?

what are you guys doing for your reveal parties if you are having one? I want to have one but I don't know what to do to! the actual "reveal" can't take more than 5 min- then what does everyone do?? I just want everyone to have fun and celebrate with us!

People typically don’t do gifts at a reveal party. For my first baby, I had people wear “team blue” or “team pink” tags and then I had signs saying team blue and team pink had everyone take pictures with their team. We ate lunch and mingled and then did our reveal. Everyone sprayed us with pink silly string and then we mingled more and that was it. I’ve also been to one where there was a photo booth area set up with props for taking pictures... pink bows, blue bow ties, pink lips, mustaches, blue hats, pink crowns, etc.

We have a gender reveal with pastries for everyone and after the reveal all the people will have champagne, wine and beer to toast. For me it will be flavoured water of course! We will just have it for two hours or so!

When people do these parties, do they also have a baby shower? I don’t know anyone who has done a “reveal” and I’m just curious. Are you expected to bring presents? 🧐
