Expectations of visitors with newborn?

Question

Okay, so I’m due any moment now and still have questions on how visitor etiquette should play when visiting your newborn.
 
For example, should they know not to kiss your newborn or should you let them know if so when?
The hospital we’re having the baby at allows visitors around the clock. What’s a nice way of letting them know that we have a certain window?
What if visitors come in and the baby is sleep. Should they pick up the baby?
I’ll be breastfeeding but do not want to do so with visitors in the room. How do you handle that part?
Any suggestions or tips appreciated.

We have let family know already WE will contact them when we are ready for visitors. Most likely after a couple weeks. We’ve done a lot of reading where couples similar to us (we are private people) want to get settled at home, figure out breast feeding etc. first before having visitors. 
I wouldn’t announce you’re in labor unless you want people to just show up. Contact the people you want to visit with time frames! :) 
Don’t be afraid of telling them to wash hands or not kiss. Your baby your rules! 💗

I had a ton of family members come visit. Unless your people are cuckoo, I don't think 'rules' need to be implemented in advance. No one picked up the baby when sleeping....who would do that?? People assumed to leave when it was time to nurse, I didn't mind my mom or his mom to stay so I told them. If the person didn't get the hint my husband could just say "hey let's hang out in the waiting room", same if I was sleeping. The only thing we really had to verbalize was to wash hands when entering our room. Anyway these things didn't turn out to be an issue in reality. But if your people are weird and pushy, tell your husband your expectations and let him say something if something needs to be said.

talk to the nurses at the hospital they are the best gate keepers. let them be the ones to say they cant come in.

see I'm WAY to passive when it comes to telling anyone how I feel. so when it came time for visitors in the hospital I didn't want anyone there right after I had my daughter and I didn't want any pictures posted online or taken. I let my sister know of how I felt and she had no problem letting them know what I wanted. no pictures on social media, no cameras in her face, hands must be washed before holding, call before you just show up to see if we were up for visitors and not to come right after her birth. fast forward to when I actually had my daughter my bf and I were the only ones there, we let people know she was here but we wanted a few hours alone with her. my sister waited to even come until we gave the ok. and everyone was very respectful of my wishes. when it comes to your baby you will know for sure what your ok with and what's not ok. I wish I was more vocal about it myself I didn't want to come off as rude or ungrateful especially after my great baby shower. but family will always understand.
