I was raped as a teen and I’m wondering if it’s just me who find eye contact awkward during sex 🤷‍♀️

Don't compare your traumatic experiences to everyone else's. If you feel uncomfortable making eye contact, that's totally understandable and fine. Your comfort is yours alone. I have some sexual issues myself from abuse in the past, and I cannot he touched through clothing (especially underwear). Don't worry about what's "normal" for other people, do what's comfortable for you.

I was abused as a teen as well... When I first started having sex I didn't want to look at my bf at all. But now I trust him enough I love seeing the passion in his eyes😍 But I agree with another comment don't worry what's "normal" or other girls do, make sure you are comfortable!

I had my eyes closed the first time, my second partner was determined to make eye contact and i realized that when i looked over at him and he was already looking at me so i went with it. My third partner, my boy right now, i want to make eye contact but i can tell he gets nervous, lol. First two were FwB so it didn't matter to me for eyecontact but my baby rn, i wanna look at him.
