Toys ‘R Us - going out of business?

I keep seeing reports that Toys ‘R Us is going to be closing it’s doors soon. What does this mean for Babies ‘R Us??? Should I be trying to spend my gift cards there ASAP?? Or is one business not really affected by the other?

A lot of babies r us's are going out of business around me I think it's bc of toys r us . But I'm going to wait until the entire store is like 90% off😂

The Babies R Us in my area is closing soon too. I'm very sad about it. We just got a Buy Buy Baby and I feel like everything costs waaaaaay more there... 😛

Our babies r us is closing doors April 15 and most of inventory was going pretty quickly. However, I’m sure they will still take your gift cards if you buy online!

I would spend what you have ASAP. They are most likely going to liquidate most stores and are getting rid of most Babies R Us’. If a company buys them out they may honor the gift cards but why chance the if? They have already told corporate employees that their is no severance for them.

If you go online they have a list of the babies r us that are closing in the state I live in there’s only 2 of them closing

They are announcing their plans Monday. I’m going to wait till than and see what they decide than use my gift cards.

My local Babies R Us are in the process of closing right now. I’m pretty sure Toys R Us will be right behind them.

Not sure what our local one is doing but the one that's closing about 45 minutes away is currently at 50% off. Most of the bigger items are gone now.
