Will have a second night in the hospital tonight to monitor my signs. They suspect the beginning of preeclampsia (rising bp, high protein, swelling) and possibly HELLP as well (my platelets have gone down by about 40% since first trimester).

Feeling a little scared. Hubby is away on business. Anyone been through this? I’m 27&6.

Update: sent home on partial bed rest after two rounds of steroid shots. My urine protein is in the 500s, and my platelets are just over 100. But my liver enzymes are okay, and my bp is so far stable in the 120-130/70-80 range. Pray for me and our boy please, to let him grow more before he comes.
