Carrier or wrap?

Hi all - FTM here. I’m starting to assemble my registry and can’t decide between a baby wrap (i.e. the Moby, Solly, etc.) or a baby carrier like the Ergobaby. For all of you who already have had kids, do you recommend one over the other? Or both?

Both! I loved a wrap for when baby was really young and then loved my lillebaby! It is super versatile.

Both. I’m going to have two under two. I like the carrier cause it’s more comfortable but it’s bigger to lug around. But the wrap is so fast and making adjustments between the two babes will be no problem

Moby wrap is amazing for when they are teeny tiny and the ergo carrier is perfect for the 6 month age. Definitely order the ergo 360! 👍🏼 it’s worth having the option of outward facing.

Tried the moby didn't work for me so I got a regular carrier and it was much easier to put on and put my daughter in by myself. My husband was gone for the first 3 months due to work and once he came home, I was still going and doing a lot of things alone, also now that my daughter is a toddler it will be great for something super easy with baby 2

I bought a wrap for our daughter and found it a bit tricky to put on. Plus hubby wasn't as keen on using it. We ended up buying an Ergo as well and used that a lot more.

I had a wrap and I hated it. It was too hot, hard to put on, and my son got so grumpy when put inside. My husband had a carrier and we both ended up using it. 100% easier and cooler.

My friend had an ergo with infant insert. I tried it and HATED it. It seemed so unnatural. I loved my wrap because baby was snuggled up on me and felt secure. Wraps aren’t hard to put on. Just practice at home before you go out in public. As much as I loved my wrap I might try a ring sling this time to see if it’s easier for me to BF in. As far as a soft structured carriers go, we used the lillebaby air (I think that is the name) with our first. NC weather is MUGGY in the summer and our son sweats if he even thinks about temperatures over 75. The carrier is great for keeping baby and the caregiver cool.
