Diet and cravings!?

Ok ladies, EVERYTHING that I have read has said you’ll only need to consume 300 extra calories per day and cravings won’t really exist in the first trimester. Every time I eat, I instantly feel empty afterwards, and this has been going on for 6 weeks (I’m 12+4 right now). Fruits and vegetables do NOTHING for me, I need carbs, lots and lots of carbs! I definitely have cravings too, I usually don’t eat sweets, have never cared for them but now I must have them every night! Idk what’s wrong with me, all my blood work is normal and I have a healthy BMI before baby (5’7, 135 lbs), but I’ve gained 10 lbs already! Is anyone else experiencing this? All my friends say they actually lost weight in their first trimester 😩 and my doctor just said the baby must want more.
