How did you tell your significant other?

I want to hear the stories or see the pictures of how you announced your pregnancy to the love of your life❤️ 
For mine he was so used to me getting negative tests and being kinda bummed out for a few days so after I forced him to let me take the last one I gave him a hug and told him I just needed to cuddle. He assumed I was sad again from a negative. I had the test in my sweater sleeve and I slid it out and said “baby, we need to save money.” And he asked why and I said “we’re going to need a bigger apartment..” and showed him the positive lines. He held me really tight and gave me 10000 kisses 😂❤️ now I’m wishing I did something a bit cuter tho!

I think what you did sounds so sweet!  This is what I gave my hubby, it was a few days before Christmas and I told him I had a time sensitive gift so he had to open it early. It was a few days before my anticipated period so he had no idea I had tested. Unfortunately this one ended in an early miscarriage so we're back to trying.

I wrote this little poem for him and showed him the positive test. We’ve been trying for about 7 years and went through fertility doctors and finally got our BFP! 
10 weeks on Monday!

Lol that’s adorable!
When we got our first BFP, I got so excited I woke up my SO and gave him a little gift I had prepared in advance - a custom onesie I had made. Two days later, we lots that pregnancy.
The next cycle, my period was late and I took a test that showed positive. I showed my SO immediately, but I wanted to call my doctor before getting excited. I called her the next day as soon as her office opened (they have Saturday morning hours) and she confirmed that it was a new pregnancy. I crawled back in bed and my SO asked me how the call went. I told him, “it’s new. We’re pregnant and I have an appointment in a few weeks.” He hugged me so tightly and we took a cuddly morning nap.

i didn't do anything too crazy.... My hubby knee AF was late because it was suppose to happen on my birthday but didn't. I just assumed it was a late month so we didn't think much of it. A few days later AF was still MIA.. so we went grocery shopping and picked up a test. I took the test after getting home and it went positive immediately. I simply called my husband to come upstairs and when he did I just had this shocked look on my face and handed him the test.

We had been trying for almost two years... when I got the positive test I woke him up and told him it was two lines. He asked what that meant, I cried like a baby and he hugged me. I would have loved to do something more to tell him, but there’s no way I could have held it in

I also surprised my hubby for Christmas! I found out 3 days before Christmas and was initially planning to wait but couldn’t hold it in. I was worried after I told him it was a surprise early gift bc he kept asking if it was a new gun or fishing rod etc 😂

I gave him this wrapped in a gift box with the test. I had put paper around the onesie and test and had placed a pink paint swatch and a blue paint swatch on top so it was the first thing he would see. I wasn’t sure if his mind would go there right away- but it did! He didn’t even open to see the onesie or test until after he had hugged and kissed and asked “really?” About 100 times. 
Unfortunately, this pregnancy resulted in a missed miscarriage at 8w. We are now ttc our rainbow and I don’t think there will be any cutesy stuff for announcement this go around. I don’t think it has to be Pinterest perfect, just something special between y’all. And it sounds like yours was, congrats (:
