How do I get an OB/GYN to do any testing

Without them trying to refer me to an RE? At this point I just want to know if there is an actual medical issue like hormone levels, or premenopause, things like that so that I could then decide if I want to see a RE. I'm 45, and tcc #1. My period is pretty normal, has been sense I was a teen. No previous pregnancies no mcs. But ow cause of my age tryi g to fi d out if my body is still fertile or if there is an actual problem with it is rediculous. My insurance won't cover most testing if it's for infertility, but if it's for menstrual health then yes. And many of the tests are the same, hirmo9, blockages, endometriosis, etc. Please any tips on how to get a OB to help?
