Do you find that many people will refuse to compliment or acknowledge someone who is very pretty? *explanation below*

I am doing a social study. Recently, I have seen people insult some really pretty women regarding their looks for no reason. Other times, I have noticed that if someone posts an ugly facial expression then they will get more likes. If they show a beautiful pic of them smiling, they will get nearly no likes.

Insecurity, I would find myself doing that a lot when I wasn’t as secure in myself. I figured , “eh they probably get enough attention already” or I would look at the picture & feel some type of way for no reason , like they’re just posting a pic ! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I realized it made me feel inferior , like damn they’re so naturally pretty & here I am with two filters on my picture just to make myself look better. Its like I’d intentionally not like the picture so I won’t give them extra attention but it’s an unfair assumption to think that someone who’s attractive gets enough attention & its a product of being self conscious as fuck. There’s so many girls that do the same thing , sometimes just for different reasons. It’s just a matter of people being honest with themselves & admitting to being insecure.

I’ll be the first to admit that I still have those moments of insecurity, but I remember that just because she’s pretty doesn’t mean that I’m not. I’m poppin , she poppin , we’re both winning 💁🏽‍♀️

Answer

Because posting a pic can seem a little vain and like a person is fishing for compliments. 
Posting a funnt face shows emotion, humor, and can add those things to brighten someone nes day mabe.🤷🏽‍♀️
