Can’t use tampons??

Okay so I am almost 18 and I can’t use tampons. It’s like they literally won’t go up! I’ve tried the smallest sizes and it’s like it hits a brick wall. I know I am putting them in right, I’ve had several friends double check (haha I know) and they said it’s the weirdest thing. Anybody else have this issue?? I’m scheduling an appointment with my doctor soon. Pads are too much of a hassle.🤦🏼‍♀️

cancel the appointment and look up cervical positions! your cervix is at its lowest while youre on your period,  thats why it wont go in. try menstural cups unstead as they will fit around it. good luck!

You might be unintentionally engaging your pelvic floor muscles. 
If you try again, relax/push your muscles the same way your would to do a wee.

Try pushing it back towards your spine. I had trouble for a long time and figured out I’m tilted inside and I have to push mine towards the spine or it feels like it hits a wall.

Does it hurt when you try to insert them? If so I would say its your pelvic floor muscles tensing up and stopping the tampon.
