Breastfeeding mamas! I had my son this morning at 8:30. I tried feeding him within the first 30 minutes and he showed no interest, just wanted him to be introduced ASAP. Since then I’ve tried feeding him about every 1-2 hours and he refuses. He has no interest in my nipple. I’ve gotten him to latch once and he sucked once then just stopped. It’s nearly impossible to wake him up. How long did it take your baby to show interest in breastfeeding? The nurses here don’t seem concerned, but there is also no lactation consultant here until Monday and I’m really nervous that he hasn’t eaten. Any tips or advice for me?
