I stopped and listened to you breathe while you slept. I stopped and admired your sweet little profile. I listened to “our music” with you. I let myself breathe in your precious baby scent. I stayed with you. While life right now it seems to be on fast forward, I stopped and stayed with you. Because the days are long, but the years are SO short; I stayed with you.
