Before me, my boyfriend had only used condoms once or twice. Well. I’m scared to death to have sex without a condom. He sent me this text. He means that having sex raw is a big deal for him & that having to use condoms has killed his sex drive.

You shouldn't compromise. Having sex with a condom is the safe and responsible thing to do to prevent stds and pregnancy. He's being a dick by acting like being safe is a buzzkill. Especially since he has not been safe in the past, I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable having sex without a condom. A baby is going to be a much bigger drain on your sex life. Tell him that the condom is not negotiable and that if having unprotected sex is so important to him, he should leave and go have it with someone else.

No, he's being 100% unreasonable and unsafe. Without condoms and or birth control there are pregnancy and STD/STI risks that don't need to put on the front line. He's putting the blame on you because he doesn't want to own up to his negligence. It would be different if you both agreed/were tested/wanted a baby but that is not the case here and he needs to respect you saying no to unprotected sex.

Honestly he’s being unreasonable... if he won’t have safe sex then he doesn’t get se. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and if he doesn’t like that he can leave and you can find someone who’s better

I think it’s hard for women to advise on this one. Like when I get into a relationship I usually allow the condom to come off after the first couple ones... like has he been tested? Maybe if you both get tested you can do it. If you’re on the pill or something of course
