Brown mucus plug??

Can your mucus plug be Brown? I've been losing it for months now 🙄🙄 but sometimes it's yellow/green and today it's brown. Is it still my mucus plug if it's brown??

Does the color change mean labor is any closer? (Ik that your mucus plug doesn't mean you'll go into labor right away)

Mine was that exact same colour and then I had my baby the next day! goodluck! Hopefully it's the same for you
