What is better for my 1 year old, Almond milk or cow milk? And why?

Cows milk is meant for baby cows, end of story. We are the only species on earth that drinks another species milk, and the only species in earth that continues to drink it AFTER weaning. Propaganda and advertising really works, that’s why so many people believe there are “vital nutrients” you just simply can’t obtain from any other source 😂 oh no! My brittle bones will break if I don’t get my daily dose of baby cow growth formula 🐄 🍼

The recdomend cows milk because it contains a good source of fat which helps a developing brain. And other nutrients and vitamins. I'm sure you can use almond milk and substitute that fat and nutrients with something else. But it's easier with milk since kids at this age are very picky eaters. 
I plan on switching to almond milk when my daughter gets older though

Cows milk is preferred because of the fat, protein and vitamin content. 
Almond milk is a valid substitute, but with less protein and lacking a few other vitamins.
Pea milk has actually been said to be the best alternative, it has the same texture and consistency, with very close make ups of vitamins and a TON of protein. 
Make sure you get the unsweetened versions of both for best nutritional content. Pretty much any other milk substitute but these two cannot nutritionally compare. They don’t have anywhere near enough vitamins and protein to replace.
If you don’t want to use whole milk, atleast discuss with your ped to get a full rundown. They can further explain why it’s recommended and what the best substitute for your child would be.
*we would prefer to not use whole milk, so we have already had this conversation with our ped. That is where our information comes from.

Goats milk is actually the closest you can get to human milk. It was the “formula” of the past because it can be an early substitute for breast milk

I drink almond milk, my husband drinks cow's milk. But our daughter will be drinking almond milk like me. I don't have anything against cow's milk, but almond milk is better for her and doesn't have all the added hormones.

i dont think i will feed my baby cows milk ever after they are done breastfeeding i dont even drink cows milk. i would supplement with formula if you feel like they are missing nutrients from their diet 🤷🏽‍♀️

Almonds don’t have milk!!! Wtf people. Do you know how much water it takes for those damn almond trees? To make enough almonds to give you one measly glass of almond “milk”. So bad for the environment.

baby humans don't need another animals milk. gross! you can find the nutrients in other foods and/or milk sources. good luck mama!
