Mother's Day flower pot or bird house?

I'm setting up a small get together/crafts session for the kids of the family for Mother's Day. Should I do decorating flower pots or bird houses?🙃 I can't decide.

I feel like a flower pot is easier to utilize without extra effort...I hate it when people give me a gift that requires work on my part. A bird house is going to need somewhere to put it and someone to put it up...a flower pot can be used right away with little effort.

I voted flower pot because my mom still has one from when I was a kid 🙂 it had flowers in it at one point but when they died we used it as a pen holder. So very multi functional lol
