Babies should never be used as tools to fix things. They are a lifelong responsibility, and if your partnership isn’t stable, I guarantee it will only get worse with a baby involved. It’s common sense.

Babies are awesome but babies are stressful.... a baby highlights all the problems in your relationship and makes them magnified ... you either work on those problems because they can't be ignored now or the relationship tanks

Definitely not. Kids just give you more reasons to make life difficult and more things to argue about. I love both my husband and my baby, but our relationship got harder ever since our son was born.

In the long run, having children usually ends a relationship rather than fixes it. The child will become the center of the relationship and when it’s old enough to be independent, the parents have little to nothing that keeps them together anymore and the couple divorces/ breaks up. 
A baby might buy you ten to 15 years, but it’s not a solution.

I mean...we had spend years getting to a place where we chose to have kids...and afterwards our relationship is much stronger. Mind you, it was a mutual decision and not to repair anything, but it did so in ways we hadn't seen yet anyhow!
