Ladies what were your signs before finding out you had diabetes?

Answer

I was 10 when I found out I was type 1. but I remember being extremely thirsty,  went to the bathroom (pee) a lot, got super skinny and my parents could smell a sweet smell on my breath ,like I just drank juice but hadn't. most common signs are extreme thirst and frequent urination.

None. But it depends on what type of diabetes your discussing? I went into diabetic ketoacidosis and got diagnosed.
Though looking back, (I was 16 at the time of diagnosis) 
Extreme thirst
Hunger
Failure to gain weight based on how much I ate.
Fatigue
Hypoglycemic events that no one could explain.
Yeah that’s pretty much it. Now I have been diabetic for 9 years.

Answer

My A1c was high as was my fasting glucose. Repeatedly.
