I'm 5 weeks pp and just a little curious how long did you wait to have sex again ?

Until my doctor clears me. Usually 6 weeks postpartum.

With my first we waited 5 weeks but I was given the okay by the dr (my appointment was at 5 weeks instead of 6 week pp). 
The reason you should wait to see the dr is to make sure the site where the placenta was attached is a giant wound. That wound, of it gets infected can cause the most incredibly scary illnesses and diseases. The people on here saying they stopped bleeding so it’s fine, does not mean anything. They are risking so much because they can’t see that wound, only the dr can verify if it’s okay or not! That’s just my opinion though! 😘😘

Waited 2 weeks but only had a small second degree tear, everything was working fine!

I’m waiting until 6 weeks to he cleared by my OB. Not because I don’t want it or that I’m scared of risking infection but because I’m terrified it’s going to hurt😂

I'm about 2 and half weeks pp and me and my partner have since before 2 weeks but I had no complications and issues and bleeding has stopped so 🤷🏽‍♀️everyone's different, depends how your labour went I spose
