Instead of arming teachers why don’t you fkn ban guns all together and not allow them to be used at ALL? If guns were not allowed, the number of school shootings and shootings all together would be alot lower. And that’s a fact.

Omg this is the worst idea. I can’t believe people support this. Who exactly is goin to pay for all these guns?  What about the ammo?  Who’s going to pay to train the teachers?  If there is a shooting, how will the police know who the active shooter is if teachers have their guns out?  What if a student gets a hold of the gun?

I was in the military so I have a different view on guns. If we severely control them - WE, not the government - then perhaps we can help to alleviate the amount of killers. There will never be any guarantee because we can’t predict the future. However, guns can be useful if placed in the right hands. I should know. 
Making them illegal means it has to be illegal everywhere. If I can’t have one, nobody can because of the American People can’t have a weapon to protect themselves then cops shouldn’t have them, our government shouldn’t have them, etc. 
Otherwise, people will whine and bitch when cops or security use the guns that, according to many people’s logic, they are legally allowed to have and accidentally kill others when trying to apprehend suspects or criminals. We need guns because it protects us from our own government - which, if you pay attention to various flaws and loopholes in the news and media - lies to us quite frequently and tries to make us fight amongst ourselves.
Plus, making them illegal for just the citizens will mean that killers will just find a different way to get weapons. They can illegally buy them from those in government or security positions with enough money if those people are weak. They can buy them off the black market. For fuck’s sake, you can BUILD a gun out of LEGO’s. Killing is part of the darkest part of human nature. Everyone has those thoughts; but each person’s brain suppresses them at a different extent. Source: active psychologist with heavy research teaching me at college.
Plus, even if we ban ALL WEAPONS, including from cops and government authorities, killers will just find a new weapon. You can craft C4 bombs at home, for crying out loud.
Banning guns will not prevent teachers and students from dying. Nothing will. It will always happen because it is human nature, and it is life, and that is how things go. Killers will use different legal things as weapons. We might as well allow guns so that we can TRAIN THE TEACHERS and have a country-wide ban on guns unless someone has annual mental health checkups. The guns in schools can be placed in an armory in which few staff members have the key to open it with. Certain weapons can be banned, such as any weapon with a fire rate over a certain amount.
However, as I said before, nothing can stop someone from killing others. It is part of life. As much as we, as human beings, fantasize a future with no killing, deaths, and equality, it will most likely never be achievable because rut is in our nature as humans to kill, judge, segregate, and perform other unfavorable acts.

I think that if a teacher already has a CWP why not? I think certain teachers maybe with proper training and a mental check. I think retired police officers would be a better fit.

Teachers are not trained or psicologically tested, but if they had trained people like police officers in schools I would agree with it. For some reason shootings never happen in places where there are armed people. what would the reason be?

There are bad teachers too. Teachers that let authority get to their heads. It would only be a matter of time before there was a tragedy on the news about an unstable teacher killing or hurting a child. It already happens without guns 🤷🏻‍♀️
