Car seat?

Question

We have the chicco key fit infant car seat, just wondering what to switch to after she outgrows this infant seat?! Any suggestions? Also, I will be traveling this summer so something that is easy to travel with, as easy as it can be with a car seat.

We switched to the Graco 4 Ever after the Chicco, around 12 months. I liked the similarities.

I have the Graco 4ever as my convertible car seat as well.  As for traveling, we fly internationally and bought a Safety 1st basic lightweight seat from Walmart for this purpose.  Didn’t want to risk our sons comfortable Graco seat being damaged while traveling.  But the safety first one was very lightweight and easy to travel with.

We had the chicco infant seat and bought Graco 4ever for everyday use. We got the Cosco Serena next for airplane/travel since it’s very lightweight. The Graco is way to heavy and bulky to travel with in my opinion, but a comfy seat for every day use!

This is the one I have for traveling.  But I do not think it is comfortable enough for day to day.  So I use my Graco 4Ever day to day, and this is my travel and backup seat.

We had the Chico keyfit and upgraded to the Chico nextfit when it was time. I’m happy with it! I wouldn’t really recommend traveling with it (I have) because it is very heavy. 
I like the recommendation of a more lightweight seat for travel.
