Any 2 under 2’s with experience on how to handle the nights? I’m expecting our 2nd LO in less than 5 months and our son now is almost a year old. He sleeps through the night just fine but if our dog barks or there’s a loud noise he wakes up cry’s/screams. We go rock him in these rare cases because it seems like he was frightened awake so we want to comfort him. But how are we to deal with an infant that is going to be crying possibly every 2 hours or more throughout the night? I know he’ll eventually learn to sleep through it or sleep heavier with age, but does anyone have any tips on how they dealt with this? Should me and my husband just split up and him rock my son and me take care of the infants needs throughout the night? Thoughts? Tips? Please help!
