Buying Baby Stuff?

I'm a first time mom. Ive had a little brother, sisters, younger cousins, and a niece. I'm very familiar with things a baby would need. Being it's My first baby, Im unsure of how much I should buy before the baby is born to be ready. Such as, bottles of wash, lotion, powder, and things of that nature. Any advice from 2nd+ time mommies?

I stocked up on wipes and diapers with our second and I'll definitely do it in the future as well.

Just enough to have what you’ll need - free and clear laundry detergent, baby wash, sleepers and onesies, diapers and wipes, pacifiers if you plan to use them, infant car seat. Maybe some nipple cream, breast pads, butt paste? Baby thermometer?
