Help.

This is my cycle last month. I messed my birthcontrol up and this was the result. The second period I was lightly bleeding and has darker discharge after. The Sunday of the last day of my second period I started my new pack of bc pills.

Now I’m late and experiencing a lot of pregnancy symptoms. I took a test this past Monday morning, March 12, the day after I was suppose to start my period and it came out negative

Well I took another one the next day and still nothing and again today, still negative.

My S/O mom is nurse so she told me to wait a week and try again. I just need to know what the best test to take would be and how long it took for those with children or are pregnant for it to show a positive.
