Clomid

I have been off birth control now for a year and a half. We have been trying to get pregnant and we have not so far. I finally went to the OBGYN Tuesday since I have irregular periods (but I have them every month) pain once in a while that’s bad, no energy, gaining weight, and hot flashes. They told me they think I have PCOS so I got my blood work done waiting for the results. I had an ultrasound done and my ovaries are perfect, no tilted uterus. So he said he wanted to put me on Clomid 50mg and try it, then check my temp every morning and chart it. I was curious if anyone else had this same issue and has clomid been successful for them?
