I️ promised myself I’d never post pics like this but when you’re overdue and a FTM you start to get desperate for advice! I’m 40 weeks and 3 days with our baby boy! Not dilating and only 50% effaced! Wednesday night and Thursday for a little during the day I️ had diarrhea and really bad (HORRIBLE) back pain along with a little cramping! I’m due for an induction the 22nd! I️ just went to the bathroom (pee) and I️ was about to pull my pants up and saw this starting to fall out! I know, I️ know.. people post stuff like this all of the time but I️ just need advice! I️ don’t want to get my hopes up but...

1. Is this mucus plug?

2. Is this a good sign labor could be near?

3. I️ heard there was suppose to be blood. Any stories of mamas who lost theirs (without blood) and went into labor??
