Do Easter for baby?

So Easter is coming up and I have a4 year old and a 2 month old. I’ve been trying to decide if I should get Easter stuff for my baby... I know she won’t know the difference... what would you do?

I got my daughter an Easter basket last year when she was 4 months. It has clothes, teethers, books (things that she would’ve needed regardless). I just put it in a basket and took pix to remember her first Easter. My family also got her Easter baskets with necessities.

Your older one will wonder why the Easter bunny didn’t get anything for the baby. I would do a spring/summer toy, hat and outfit. I have an 8 year old and a 3 month old.

Why are people making Easter like Christmas? Where I'm from if a child is old enough they get an Easter egg otherwise nothing. A nice Easter outfit too.

Do what your economic situation allows. If it’s downright impractical for a baby to have a basket, take photos of her sharing with her brother. If money is tight it’s silly to do Easter for babies that won’t remember. It’s just a fun thing, not mandatory!

do up a basket of cute outfits and other items you need for baby and a few baby toys. it'll be cute for pictures and memories to look back on :) even if they won't remember !

Walmart has some cute stuff for baby's first Easter. I got my son a small blue Cross that said faith on it and a bunny rattle for his first Easter.

My baby will only be about 6 weeks old, but we’re still doing a cute little basket for him just since it’s his first holiday and we’ll be around all the family and other little kids who have baskets. We’re just filling it with little baby items/things he needs, obviously not candy. So far I have a couple board books, a stuffed bunny, some little rattles/teether toys, and some bath wash and lotion.

Yes, but not candy. Things he/she needs. Bibs, stuffed animal, pacifier (if used), wouldn't go overboard but a little something for my own conscious.
