So I was at work, I do night duty as a nurse. I began needing to wee every half hour if not sooner. I went to the toilet and started having pains only after I finished weeing. As my shift went on, and as I went to the toilet I started noticing blood after as I weed. I went to emergency at 4am because of this, bright red urine & pain. I got put on antibiotics (Cephalexin 500mg) which has helped majorly, I started these and then got blood test & ultrasound of kidneys & bladder. Today, results have all come back clear!? I expected something major. I know about UTI’s, kidney issues etc. But.... it all came back clear. Blood test for pregnancy is negative, I’m on my fertile window now, tomorrow being ovulation day. Has anyone else experienced this? Does having infections cause conceiving to be more difficult/impossible? 🙈

I feel like I’ve wrecked my chances for this month!

Ps. Definitely not menstrual bleeding I experienced.
