My husband and I will be homeschooling our children. We always thought we would send them to public school because that’s how we were schooled growing up, but with all the school shootings and violence we no longer feel safe sending them to public school (and if you send your children to public school, great! This is just our personal views).

However, I don’t feel like I am educationally well-equipped to teach my child from home. Should I go to school and take classes on childhood education/ development while he is still a baby? Or do you think that’s unnecessary and I should just go with the lesson plan and learn as I go?? Thanks for your help!
