Okay ladies, I just have a question for anyone that has had to take insulin for gestational diabetes. I recently have been put on the insulin pen because my fasting numbers are too high. I take the long-acting insulin at night before bed to try to lower my morning numbers. My doctor told me to pinch the fat on my stomach and inject it there (I’m 15 weeks 2 days). I tried that and I’m just not comfortable injecting it there. I was just wondering if anyone has injected it elsewhere instead of the stomach and if it’s okay to do that? I plan on calling my Dr on Monday when they open and talking to them
