Brown spotting at 10 weeks

Hi ladies, just looking for some reassurance. A couple of days ago I had some light brown spotting when I wiped. I called my OB and they told me it’s not unusual and to call if I started bleeding and/or cramping. I’ve had a first trimester miscarriage, so believe me, I KNOW what that kind of bleeding and cramping is like. I’m definitely not having those symptoms, but this morning I had more brown discharge when I wiped. This was not caused by sex or a cervical exam, just random. With my daughter, now 2, I experienced implantation bleeding, but nothing beyond 4 weeks. I have a scan in a week, and may call tomorrow to see if they have any openings sooner this week. Until then, wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I had a healthy 8 week scan and measured on track with a HB of 160. However, I can’t shake the thought that something has gone wrong and this discharge is a preview of what’s to come.
