So about 4 months ago my man got on his knee and gave me a ring, he said “Would you give me your blessing, to always hold your hands and cherish your smiles, to be able to kiss you whenever I can, and to live the rest of my life, knowing that you love me too.” and I said yes.

So basically, we’re engaged right? well I asked him was this a marriage proposal since he did not say will u marry me? and he said, it depends on how you wanna look at it.

The thing is, we’ve already decided that we will get married on 2023. We’ve had our timeline planned out.Right after this he’s going to the UK and I will also be going to Australia. Our families are all supportive and hve agreed on this “engagement”. although My girlfriends said he only “proposed” so that we both will have that extra confidence since we will be on a very-long distance relationship for 5 years but honestly I dont really care why he did it, and having this ring as a reassurance that he’s mine surely makes this LDR less struggling. I’m just confuse on whether or not to address him as my fiance😂
