Weight “normal”?

My baby weighed 6lbs 10 ounces at birth. At his one month appointment he was 8 pounds 8 ounces. He will be 2 months on the 30th. He currently is weighing 9lbs 6 ounces. I see all these babies weighing 11-12 pounds at 2 months. I can’t help but wonder if he is gaining enough weight?  He is breastfed every 2-3 hours and given two bottles during the night of formula. Anyone in the same boat? Suggestions? Should I even worry?

What percentile is he and is his growth following that percentage? My LO pretty much stays along 50% as she grows

My son was born prematurely, a month early. But he was 6 pounds 4 oz, at his 1 month he was 9 pounds. A week later he was at 10 pounds. My first son was 7 pounds when he was born, 10 pounds at a month and 12 pounds at 2 months. Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it much. As long as your baby is eating a good amount of milk the weight doesn’t matter. The percentiles, to me, don’t mean shit. My first was way above the 75 percentile in height, weight, and head circumference. My second was barely at 5% for his head circumference, 20% for his weight, and 30% for his height. I compared both of my kids at one month and my second so is longer than my first.. so why would he only be at 30%? At that point I just gave up on worrying about where he was compared to every other baby at 1 month.

My boy is 2 months and 9 pounds 4oz (was 6 pounds 11oz at birth). He has dropped from the 25th to the 9th percentile. Doc will refer us to the paed next week if he doesn’t put on any weight this week, as he didn’t put on any in the past week.
He has plenty of wet nappies and is meeting development milestones, so hopefully nothing seriously wrong.

Is your baby breastfed or formula.
Formula babies tend to gain weighed faster which is not always a good thing as they can be prone to obesity later in life. 
My little girl weighed 6.9lbs at birth. Then at her month check up she weighed 7.13lbs: then at her 6 week check she weighed 9.1lbs. 
Don’t focus on what other babies weigh. If the doctor isn’t worried you shouldn’t be.
My doctor says my baby is following the chart perfectly.

We were born at 7 5 oz and at six weeks he was 10 9 oz.
We are in the 30th percentile.
I flat out asked, and my doctors response was this-
Gestational diabetes is on the rise.  If you look at a model that includes European nations you will be much higher in the percentile and if you look at a model from before the obesity and diabetes epidemic in mothers you’re also going to be higher.
As long as your baby stays in their specific path you are just fine.

Doctor told us he was in the 20th percentile. That just seems so small. :/

my son is 11 lbs 12 oz at 9 weeks of age..  putting him at 33% percentile...  at 5 weeks he weighed 9lbs 2oz and was 22 percentile... and at birth was 6lbs 2oz and easy at 11 percentile.  he is formula fed tho.
