So I’ve recently been in contact with my ex... and we got into a really heated moment and things got away from us, we ended up having sex.. unprotected. Now usually this isn’t a problem, our whole relationship we did this but instead of pulling out he just came inside me (someone slap me on the wrist) and I took an emergency contraceptive the following morning. It’s been about 5 days since then, I haven’t experienced any of the side effects listed on the box. some slight cramping has occurred and a teeny bit of spotting. I still can’t help but wonder when is this supposed to trigger my period? Should I be worried? Take a test? Or just wait it out a couple more days? I also just want to hear anybody else’s experience with emergency contraceptives.
