Progesterone and Miscarriage??

I had a miscarriage last Monday. They did labs and want me to come in on the 28th to go over those labs. After seeing my results on my online chart, my progesterone was a 0.5. What does this mean? Could that have been the cause of my pregnancy? I’m assuming it’s low but idk what it’s supposed to be. I was 5 weeks to the day. Suggestions??

The average levels during the three trimesters are 9 to 47 ng/ml for the first trimester, 17 to 146 ng/ml for the second trimester and 49 to 300 ng/ml for the third trimester. 
I just had my second miscarriage Sunday. My doctor said the only way to find out why I’m having them is to keep trying and see if I get far enough along to have a healthy pregnancy or if I miscarry if he can test it. So he told me as soon as I’m done bleeding to try right away and as soon as I found out I’m pregnant again to call him right away and he would do blood work to test my levels and go from there.

I was wondering the same thing. Miscarried at 5w+4 and when I had my progesterone rested a few days after I started bleeding it was at 0.5. I made an appointment to see the OB/Gyn next Tuesday to talk more about it
