I feel hopeless

I get to test on Friday is my period doesn’t start on Thursday. But I was having familiar cramps this morning that I always get around this time. I fear AF is around the corner and I feel hopeless. What is the point of all this? Should I even keep trying? I have been TTC for Three years with PCOS and nothing has stuck long enough to be a pregnancy.
