Should I go to an endocrinologist?

So I’m the beginning of fertility testing I was told I have subclinical hypothyroidism. I have been taking levothyroine for a year now. My levels haven’t been checked since last June/July. My fertility doctor is an endocrinologist as well but I don’t really see the fertility doctor much anymore since we aren’t currently doing any treatments. Should I find an endo just to have one?

if your fertility doc is also an endocrinologist, why do you need another endo? for second opinions?

Do you know the cause of your hypothyroidism? Do you have hashimotos? X

I think you should get a second opinion and see a different Endocrinologist, your levels are suppose to be checked every 3 to 6 months depending on the situation.
