high cholesterol?

i am 30 weeks pregnant and when I did my blood , turned out my cholesterol is high. i have my appointment with my doctors in 4 days but wanted to ask any of you mammas have had it and what did you change in your diet?

I’m surprised they checked your cholesterol. I was booked to get my cholesterol checked (my gp ordered it before I was pregnant) and my OB cancelled it because he said cholesterol will always go up in pregnancy and it isn’t reliable to test during this time.

My doctor told me you want to have high cholesterol during pregnancy because of all the things baby is taking from you. She said she would be concerned if it wasn’t high
