I live in Ireland where abortion is currently illegal except for in very extreme cases, however there’ll be a vote soon to possibly change this law.

I’m pro choice and I didn’t realize how passionate I was about it until I got into a debate with a guy friend of mine who is anti choice (or “pro life” but seriously pro whose life?)

I feel like he doesn’t understand, the guy‘s a virgin and has never been in a relationship. He has no idea what a pregnancy scare feels like and somehow I can’t get through to him that nobody ‘wants’ an abortion, it’s physically and emotionally painful, but sometimes it’s the most practical option.

Anyway I don’t want this to ruin our friendship and I don’t want to force my opinion on him either because I know everyone has a right to their own.
