Well I'm just in highschool and most highschools have a program called JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.) and they are ones for each branch of the military (army, navy, marines, air force). we are an army JROTC so we are connected with the army base in Fort Knox, Kentucky. basically Military Ball is an event we have to give our cadets a chance to just have fun. we get served a sit down dinner and then we have a ceremony for our seniors that are graduating that year and then we have our male exhibition team do a performance (the guy to flip and twirl the rifles) and then we dancing portion begins which normally last for like 4 hours. while the cadets are dancing no parent are allowed in side the ballroom only the Colonel and his wife to supervise.
