Both my husbands side and my side of the family buy all the other kids tons of toys for their birthdays and christmas. Well my son was born January 10th ajd my husband and I have talked and since they are so close we really don't want people getting him toys for both. We would like clothes, gift cards, books, or funds towards something educational yet still fun like the zoo, or the aquarium, or science factory.

How would you go about asking friends and family to get something other than toys?
