UTI?? (tmi)

Question

Towards the end of last summer Ive been randomly having a strong urge to pee. I can not hold it in at all and when I do pee, it smells bad. I think it's a UTI, but im not sure and i'm scared to tell my mom. Im 17, almost 18 and i went to the OBGYN not that long ago and the doctor didn't see anything wrong or say anything. What do i do?

Tell your mom. If you leave a uti untreated, especially that long, it can turn into a kidney or bladder infection.

If it’s a uti that’s nothing to be afraid to tell your mom and you can just go to a general practitioner for that. They literally just check your urine. It can happen to anyone  I’m on antibiotics right now for one lol.

Did they have you pee in a cup and test your urine for a UTI? I’ve never been to a GYNO for a UTI, just went to a General Practitioner

Are you sure it’s a uti? If your doctor couldn’t tell did you do a sample? If nothing was shown then it’s not an infection. Normally it would also sting when you wee, strong smells could be to do with what you eat/drink. Also you can go a lot from drinking a lot
