When did you sleep train your baby

I tried sleep training at 1 month and it just wasn’t working with the feeding every 2 hrs or less so I’m thinking on waiting till he eats solids and can sleep longer.

I'm not going to. My son is 15 months. He will night wean and sleep through the night when he is ready.

12 weeks. Mine just didn’t get it before then. It wasn’t going to happen, no matter what I tried. Most programs recommend 12 weeks or 13 lbs (for night sleeping).

I started with a bedtime routine and putting down in her crib drowsy but awake at 3-4 weeks. When she fussed, I would comfort, then try again. After a few tries, she just grunts a little, maybe lets out one cry, but then soothes herself to sleep. We swaddle and use a fan for white noise. At 7 weeks, she’s getting a 6 hour stretch at night and rarely fusses when I put her down. We also breastfeed on demand, but in the evenings I offer the breast sometimes before she wants it to encourage a cluster feeding pattern before bed. This helps tank her up for a long sleep at night.
