If your child was raped or sexually assaulted, would you plaster it on social media?

Backstory..my friends (well ex friend) daughter was sexually assaulted. Her daughter is 12 years old. The mother is posting it all over Facebook. I told the mother that I don’t think she should be telling a story that’s not hers, and her daughter shouldn’t be used as a poster child.

She’s all like “she will be used as a poster child for other little girls who are scared and blah blah blah”.

I feel so strongly about this because I’ve been raped. Needless to say, we are no longer friends.
