What I had planned for: Natural, calm water birth with dimmed lights, quiet voices and gas+air at most.

What I wanted after my water broke: Every drug possible before I jump out the nearest window.

What actually happened: Went from 4cm - crowning in 90 minutes. She was born in 5 pushes. Threw the gas and air behind me and went for it. She didnt want to wait for the anesthetist or even the midwives to set up before arriving.

Baby Ava born 18/03/18 6 days overdue. 6lb 8oz 18 inches long.
